Vote to Approve East Pierce Fire & Rescue Proposition 1

It’s not new funding. It’s a renewal of previously authorized funding.

The regular Fire Levy is a critical part of the overall funding for your Fire & EMS services. A vote to approve Proposition 1, will restore your fire levy back to the 2017 levels and will improve public safety in our communities. As the area has rapidly grown, so has the need for additional response units. Decreasing response times increases your safety by stopping or slowing fire spread, and starting emergency medical care quicker. There is a critical need to put firefighters into more fire houses across our area. Approving Prop 1 will do that.
